  The owner was the best host I have ever met in my trip. Friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. Compared to the other cottages or motel, Knotty Pine has the best location with sea view, wifi access and best of all, it's very closed to the ferry so that you can walk to the water front for fishing. Not to mention the ice-cream and snack provided at the store. I would like to rate 5 star and will stay here again if I am back to Cape Brenton next year

  David made our stay really memorable. He let us use his canoe and shovel (clam digging) at no extra cost. He treated us like family. He knows hospitality. We stayed at Cottage #2 for 4 days and we loved the location specially the view. We are already thinking of booking another week next year and have recommended Knotty Pine to our friends, family, relatives and clients.

  Knotty pines is exactly what I wanted on my trip around the Cabot Trail. The cabins are adorable and rustic. The location is quiet and scenic. Perfect for BBQing on your patio and having beach fires and enjoying the scenery.

  Very small. A place to catch a quick nights sleep and get out of there. Recommend finding another place to stay in the area. There are many choices.

  Incredibly hospitable owner. Made it feel like we were visiting family instead of renting a cabin. And the cabin was very cozy as well. Gorgeous views and beach access as well. Would've gone swimming if we hadn't run out of time
